This section presents a selection of my research projects developed throughout my past experiences in the automotive and medical tech industries. Each project reflects my focus on user experience and research methodologies. Specific company details have been omitted to ensure compliance with confidentiality agreements and NDAs.

Evaluation New Concept
Projects: Evaluation of User desirability with the new concept of an authentication component on a medical device
Period: February - June 2023
This Research project focused on evaluating a new authentication concept for a medical device, aimed at enhancing security and user experience in critical healthcare environments. The project included several key tasks: (1) Value Proposition Canvas: Developed a value proposition canvas to align the authentication concept with user needs and the benefits it offers. (2) Targeted User Groups and User Personas: Defined targeted user groups and created detailed user personas to ensure a comprehensive understanding of the diverse needs and contexts of potential users. (3) Qualitative Surveys: Conducted qualitative surveys with 200 participants to identify customer pain points related to the authentication process, gathering insights on their experiences and challenges. (4) In-Depth Interviews and Observations: > Carried out in-depth interviews and observations in hospital operating rooms during the process of using medical devices in a surgery > Gained a deeper understanding of real-world use cases, workflows, and user interactions with the device. Through these efforts, the project aimed to gather critical insights that would inform the design and implementation of an effective and user-friendly authentication solution, ultimately improving the overall user experience in medical settings.

Discovery UX Research
Project: Redesigning the User Management Platform for Sales & Service Representatives
Period: April - May 2022
This discovery UX research project focused on analyzing and enhancing the user experience of the current user management platform for sales and service representatives. Below are the key components of the project: (1) Goals: > Analyze user experience while interacting with the platform. > Identify areas for improvement to increase efficiency for the next generation of the platform. (2) Methods: > Conducted qualitative user surveys with approximately 300 participants. > Performed in-depth interviews and task observations with 20 users across the US, EU, and China. (3) Results: > Explored user expectations and desires for an ideal platform experience. > Developed recommendations for near-term quick-win solutions. > Created a comprehensive action plan categorized into MUST, COULD, and SHOULD items to fully empower users and enhance their overall experience. (4) My Role: Acted as the Product Owner (main) and UX researcher (support) within a team of three, overseeing the project from inception to completion. This project provided valuable insights into user needs and set the foundation for a more efficient and user-friendly platform.

Post-launch UX Research
Projects: Evaluation of User experience and feedback after a new version of connected car mobile App launched.

Period: June - Sept 2020
This post-launch UX research aimed to evaluate user experience in the latest version of a connected car app, identifying strengths and areas for improvement. The research involved multiple methods to gather comprehensive user insights: (1) User Feedback Analysis: Collected and analysed feedback from various channels to understand common pain points and user sentiment. Targeted channel for feedback collections: App Store/Google Store, Feedback via Facebook fanpage, Email/Contact Form, Support Tickets. (2) Qualitative Survey: Conducted a targeted survey with a focused user group to gain deeper insights into user satisfaction and usability challenges. (3) Expert Interviews: Engaged key stakeholders and experts to assess the app’s usability, functionality, and alignment with best practices. By synthesizing these findings, the research provided actionable recommendations to refine the app experience, enhance user satisfaction, and guide future iterations.
